I hope life is treating you well. It's certainly throwing me for a loop!
In my last journal, I must have told ya'll about my new job at a 3D printing shop. If I didnt, or you missed it, I got a job at a 3D printing shop called Stax3D ^^
I was originally hired for my art skills and design skills in Maya and Zbrush and I am very excited now because they want to take me on as one of their artists!
They gave me and one other artist a test model from a 3D scan of a human client and wanted to see how we would do. My first attempt was horrendous but the second one I turned in was much better. I havent heard anything back yet, so Im k

Now, let me explain myself.... Becoming an adult freaking sucks.
Sure, I've gained new experiences and have grown as a person and an artist even but it's still such a wake-up call. My schedule has been work, school, work, school, school, work especially with the holidays and finals approaching. I've been promoted to a supervisor position at my retail store but that's more stressful because I am ALWAYS interacting with impatient customers. I fear for school because I've failed a math class last semester and this semester, I intend to pass it. Which requires studying
SAVE AMERICA'S WILD HORSES!
Fellow artists and art enthusiasts, I understand most of my followers/watchers are horse enthusiasts as I am and I wish to inform you that in the U.S. our president's new budget reduces funds to the Wild Horse and Burrow Act which protects wild mustangs and burrows from being brutally captured and brought to slaughter. Since the Act, these animals have been rounded up to be adopted to good horsemen and women instead. However, because of the reduction of funds, many of the wild horses are being held in paddocks while others that are free for a time will be rounded up and brought to places like Mexico and Canada to be tortured and slaughtered.

I thought I was going to just make a status about this, but I decided it would be too big of a story for a status...
As I was going through different wild horse footage on YouTube for references and whatnot, I happened upon the wild horse bands that live only thirty to forty-five minutes away from me who are called the Salt River horses.
A lot of people boat, hike, camp, fish and tube on the Salt River. It's a big weekend get away from our crummy cities. The horses co-exist with us and many people like to watch them hang out without disturbing their horsey lives.
But can you believe it? The government wanted to round them up and euthanized
